I do have to say, I love my job, and it’s got to be one of the coolest jobs out there.  This last week has been quite interesting.  I have been working hard, as always, and finding my own ways to “hype” up my next fight which is Friday, April 13, at the Oman Arena in Jackson, Tenn.

I will be fighting Felice Herrig on the “XFC 17: Apocalypse” card, you can purchase tickets on my website by clicking on the fight card.  Still watch it LIVE on HDNet, so check your local listings!

About all of this “talk” going around; yes, I’m hyping the fight people, I’m not calling her names, or being derogatory.  I am being tactful and having some fun entertaining the fans leading up to our fight.  I keep it classy. I do NOT take my clothes off to get attention (not my kind of attention) or publicity; so, I have to find other avenues.

Oh and when I hear interviews where you, Felice, say I am not good at anything in particular… I put my hours in at the gym each day, I can and will back up what I talk, so for all of you that are “offended” by this, you should all just grow up.

I work very hard and know Felice and I will put on an exciting fight.  We both have been anticipating this fight; it was supposed to happen a couple of times already.  Our skills will tell the tale in the cage.

If you want to follow me more during the week to see what else transpires, you can do so on my Twitter at @LilPatriciamma or on my website where there is also a live Twitter feed.

I eat clean all year round and train all year round.  After each fight, I have a few days where I dive into my bucket list of food that I have made during the previous diet and cut.  I have a cheat day each week (this fight, it’s Saturday).

I have a lot of self control, so when I am only eating chicken and fish, I make my guys, steak, pork roasts, cakes, cookies, etc. This is my job, I chose this, and that is my mindset.

I would have to say, the hardest part of fighting for me, is the actual cut. Not the dieting, but the abolene, sauna suit, cardio equipment, and most of all, the sauna itself.  You know, the REALLY good stuff.

Oh, I don’t want to forget, Lola has a new best friend, her sock monkey! (see photos)

It takes a lot of sacrifices to be a fighter, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.  Training is great, as always. I appreciate all of my teammates who are in the gym each night working hard with me; we all share a common goal of becoming better fighters and athletes.

I want to wish one of my teammate’s kids, Evani, Happy 9th Birthday sweetie! We all love you and will see you this weekend at your party!
