Antanas Jazbutis will now be replacing Chris Fishgold to face ex-Marine, Dale Hardiman, in the Lightweight bout taking place at BAMMA 9 on 24th March at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena.

Originating from Lithuania but now based in Bristol and fighting out of Team Trojan, Jazbutis has 25 fights behind him and a reputation for going the distance.

Hardiman, on the other hand has the higher percentage of wins, sound grappling and a history of first round submission finishes.

Dale Hardiman said:

“At first I was a little gutted about Fishgold pulling out. I felt my style matched up well with his and that the fight would have been a perfect chance to showcase my skill set. Yazbutis is more well rounded than Fishgold and is a threat both on the ground and standing. He is durable and tough. He has regularly gone the distance in the past and is hard to finish. I am looking to make a statement by finishing him by the quickest and most devastating means possible. However a three round war could easily be on the cards!  As I have never gone the distance I am excited at the prospect. What ever happens come March 24th, fans can expect an explosive and intriguing match up. Expect fireworks from start to finish. I’m coming to fight and I know Jazbutis is doing the same!”

Chris Fishgold was forced to pull out due to injury.
