I want to thank everyone for your amazing support; part of fighting, is not always winning.  I fought to decision on Friday night with Jag, she came out on top.  It was definitely not my night, it wasn’t the normal me in there fighting, seemed like my head just wasn’t in it.  I didn’t listen to my coach, or stick to my game plan, which ultimately cost me the fight.

I had her in a head and arm from my guard, I thought I heard Jason telling me to let go, and abandon it. After the fight when we were talking about it he asked why I let that go.  Ugh, I will come back stronger and learn from this fight, as I do each and every one.  Jag is on of the best in the world, glad to not have been finished (considering I haven’t been), I came out injury free, and with another great fight offer. Keep reading…

I do have to say, I am glad to be home; the last few days have been trying.  All the flying, not getting enough sleep (or even rest) really takes its toll.  My muscles are naturally sore from being in a fight, my upper thigh is bruised from not listening to my coach yelling for me to get up…I made weight, acted professionally, and fulfilled my end of the bout agreement.  Now it’s time to focus ahead, and fix the mistakes from my last fight.  That way I am more evolved for whoever I am across the cage from next.

Everyone’s kind words of love, encouragement and support were very thoughtful, and I appreciate you all.  I will continue to work hard, I know I will come back stronger and I will not make the same mistakes twice.

I was back in the gym on Monday, lifting, training, and helping our two ammy fighters get ready to do work March 2nd in Missoula, Mont.  Ryan Ferguson and Tyson Castro will be representing Team Vidonic for the first time at Fight Force’s “Missoula Mayhem“, and it will be a night to remember.  Getting both of their weights down means lots of cardio; so, my cheating days are being countered by all this cardio, I love it!

Oh yes and I did mention that I was offered another fight on our way home Saturday… I will be fighting Felice Herrig (5-4) for Xtreme Fighting Championships at XFC 17 on Friday, April 13th, in Jackson, Tenn.  This will be LIVE on HDnet!

I am still working on getting my house back together, doing laundry, going to the store and finding a little time to rest.  Along with the gym and such, there is always something that needs to get done.

I want to apologize for my performance on Friday night to everyone, especially my coach.  I know that actions speak louder than words, so that’s what I’ll do. In turn I want to thank my team for helping me get ready, my coach for getting me where I am in my career today.  A big thanks to all of my fans, friends and family for your continued support through the good and bad.
