The Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC) announced on Friday via its Twitter account (@OfficialXFC) that the organization would return to Tennessee for two consecutive shows following XFC 16: High Stakes on February 10 in Knoxville.

XFC 17: Apocalypse is set to take place at the Oman Arena in Jackson, Tenn. on April 13 followed by XFC 18 on June 22 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

Headlined by a bout between Jamie Varner and Drew Fickett, XFC 16 will air LIVE on HDNet and marks the first time the organization has traveled to the state since making history in 2009 when it became the first MMA promotion to be sanctioned by the Tennessee State Athletic Commission.

No fight announcements or ticket information have been made yet for XFC 17 and XFC 18.
