Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit, Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum, Mike Pierce vs. Josh Koscheck; these are the three UFC 143 headlining bouts that are featured in Countdown to UFC 143. Diaz and Condit vie for the 170 pound interim title and a shot at Georges St-Pierre. Werdum was working his way toward a UFC title shot in 2008 before getting knocked out by current champion Junior Dos Santos in what was his UFC debut. Werdum would like nothing more than get another shot at Dos Santos and take his title, but first he will have to get through Nelson, who is not only a fellow BJJ black belt, put packs one helluva whallop. Mike Pierce called out Josh Koscheck and knows a win over the welterweight veteran would move him into the upper echelon of the division. Enjoy the show.
