Rolling with the punches is part of this game in many aspects.  Not just the literal sense.  Even though my fight in Washington fell through, I kept training and moving forward.  I was blessed enough to be offered an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.

I will be fighting Jessica Aguilar a.k.a. “JAG”!!  It will be in beautiful sunny Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Feb. 17th for Howard Davis Jr.’s promotion, Fight Time.  If you are in the South Florida area, you should come check it out!  Keeping a positive outlook, brings positive things.  Just a few weeks till Fight Time!!

Hey everyone!  Just in case you are new to my blog, I’m “Little” Patricia Vidonic.  Thirty-two-year-old pro MMA fighter, mom and wife.  I started training and fighting January of 2009; I never boxed, wrestled or did any martial arts before I started MMA at 29 ½ yrs old.

I am now on my third year of fighting and I have been pro since July 2010.  I lost that fight to a vet of the sport; however, I have not looked back, winning every fight I have had since. I pride myself on being a role model, someone wholesome and real for anyone to be inspired by or look up to.

I write this weekly blog about what my life is like being a fighter, who I am fighting, how my training camps are going, family, life, etc. Thanks for checking my blog out, I have some awesome news in here, so keep reading, because the good stuff is below.

All last week it was snowing, until this weekend.  Now it’s been in the 30’s to high 40’s! The snow is melting, but it will be back….  There were no snow day’s at our gym last week! I had a fun time sparring all of you guys this last week in class!  You are all picking up on the key elements and applying them.  You will continue to grow if you keep showing up to practice.  “You get out what you put into this sport.”

Sorry, I didn’t watch the fights on Friday. I decided to stay at the gym and train late, then went home and relaxed with the fam. (We have no TV) Mark stayed over at his buddy’s house and met up with us at his B-ball game Saturday morning at his school.  They played hard and came up 4 points short to Will James Middle School.  Good job Cougars ~ you’ll get ‘em next time.

Also, Mark got his report card; all A’s and 1 B, 3.8GPA!  The rest of the weekend was filled with family time, clothes exchanging with friends and letting the kiddo’s play.  Along with all of the other domestic engineering activities.

I want to thank Jack for being so super cool!! Love, love, love ProMMANow.com (www.prommanow.com)!  Thanks to my hubs/coach for everything he does, promoting me, teaching, fathering, etc. (we are each other’s personal slaves, LOL).

I want to thank our students for showing up, listening, and working hard.  Thanks to the same group (including Jason) for also being my training partners; you all push me, and I appreciate it.

Thanks to all of my family, friends, and fans for your continued support!!  Last and certainly not least, my Sponsors ~ Training Mask ~ Polanti Watches ~ NutraBio.com ~ Damage Control Mouthguards ~ Super Body Care ~ A.C.E.S.
