Free Training Session with Bill ‘The Grill’ Cooper for Autism Awareness

LAS VEGAS (November 16, 2011) — Grapplers Quest hosts the 2011 World Series of Grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu this Saturday (Nov. 19) at Sports Center (located at 121 East Sunset Road) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Divisions in Submission Grappling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Wrestling are offered at every Grapplers Quest worldwide. Cash and prizes valued at $15,000, including custom Gladiator swords and medallions for champions.

More than 200 competition teams and 1,000 competitors are expected to participate from 27 countries including United States, Brazil, Canada, Russia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Peru, Japan, Croatia, Holland, England, France, and Australia. The World Series of Grappling is an open tournament for all styles of ground fighters. Competitors of all ages and skill levels participate in this event that is open to all grappling styles in order to determine this year’s best grapplers in the world.

Fighters may register to compete at the venue, Sports Center (121 East Sunset Road) on Friday, Nov. 18 between 5-8 PM/PT or Saturday, Nov. 19, starting at 7:00 AM/PT. All competitors, teams and independents are welcome. Spectator tickets are available to purchase: $20 for adults, $10 for children, under 6 free. Competition begins at 10:30 AM/PT.

MMA fighter Bill Cooper will be conducting a free training session and seminar for children and teens on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10:00 AM/PT to raise awareness for AutismRadio.org.

Grappling is the fast-paced ground fighting art of Mixed Martial Arts, combining the throws of Olympic Judo, takedowns of Greco Roman and Freestyle Wrestling, Leg Locks from Sambo, and other Submissions from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu like arm bars, shoulder locks and chokes.
