This week has been hopeful and fun.  We have a great new gym to train at.  Saturday was the zombie walk and Monday was Halloween!  There are some new doors opening in our life so keep reading to find out what’s going on.

First off, I am looking for a fight late November to mid-December or so. If anyone out there has a spot for a female MMA fighter in or around 115-pounds please let me know. You can contact me at [email protected].  Thanks!

So late last week one of my local fans Darin, hooked us up with Dan, he owns a gym here in Billings.  We went down to talk to him and check out the gym.  He said he thought he had what we need and we should come down and talk to him, so we did.

After we got Mark from school we headed down to 4th Ave. North Dojo where we met up with Dan, who is also the Kempo Karate instructor at the gym.  We hit it off, there is everything a girl can ask for from a gym, we met some of the crew, then the next morning we were in there as usual.

In the gym there is also Alternative Athletics, a cross fit gym, so this place is open at 6 a.m.!  It felt great to be back in the gym sweating away.  Everyone at the gym works hard, has goals, is humble and there are no egos.

We all have a common respect as well as enjoy talking to one another.  We want to thank Dan, Clint and Katie for the warm welcome.  You all rock!

Since we do have the mat space and a positive atmosphere, my coach and I would like to hold tryouts to be part of a well rounded, organized fight team.  Have a real chance to learn, evolve and become a successful fighter.

We will choose a combination of five men or women 18+ years old.  If you are in Billings and this interests you please contact us with your info at  [email protected].

On Saturday, we participated in the Zombie walk, down town to help benefit the Billings Food Bank, once again.  We went to our friends house, Kat and Jake to get zombied up!  That was fun, thanks!

We all went downtown, Mark and I had our faces all done up, we looked super dead, thanks Jason!  He got another zombie stuffed animal and a heart.  He had a great time walking thru downtown moaning like a zombie and dragging his leg behind him.

We all walked together and had a fun time, especially since the weather was nice.  Sunday we went to a friends, she made these delicious pumpkin cookies with chocolate chips in them.  So soft and yummy!!  Love hanging out with them, great company and the kids all get along too.

Mark raked leaves to earn some allowance and we talked about what time we were meeting up for Halloween to take the kiddos trick or treating.  The next day Mark went to school and dressed up in his costume, because we were told they were allowed to.

Note, he did go as a girl, however, you all will see his costume below, there is nothing wrong with it.  And he had jeans on under the dress with tennis shoes.  By second period he was sent to the office and they told him he had to change because there is “no cross dressing”.  How silly, huh?

After school Jason fro’d up my hair, one bottle of hair spray later, I got a bell-bottom velux tube top jumpsuit with red and silver stripes down the sides.  It’s groovy!

In costume, Marky and I have our make up on and off to Angi and Brian’s for dinner with them and their girls.  Mmmm lasagna, bread and trick or treating.  Thanks guys we had a fantastic time, always do!

The weather here is getting colder, the snows a comin…
