Darren McFarland, Chris Pappas and Brad Hopkins were back in the 102.5 FM studio Thursday to talk the latest in mixed martial arts news. The guys also spoke with former UFC middleweight champion Rich “Ace” Franklin who is currently on the sidelines recovering from shoulder surgery he underwent earlier this month.

Franklin discussed the challenges of being a “company man” or “towing the company line” as they say. He talked about making the move from 185 to the 205 pound division and he also helped clarify a statement he made in an interview earlier this week about his feelings the UFC might not “have his back” like they once did.

Franklin also discussed the UFC’s new deal with FOX, injuries in MMA,  and his interest in sports nutrition and health. In addition to talking with Franklin, Darren and the boys also discussed judging in MMA, cutting weight, The Ultimate Fighter season 14 on Spike TV and much more.
