“Cage Rage UK 24: Hands of War” will take place Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Troxy in London and features unbeaten light heavyweight champ Jimi “The Poster Boy” Manuwa (9-0) defending his title against undefeated contender Nick “Headhunter” Chapman (4-0) in the main event.
Cage Rage UK promoter Dave O’Donnell commented on the Manuwa-Chapman match-up:
“Both of these men have everything to gain by winning this fight, after Maguire getting snapped up by UFC, every champion knows they could be just one fight away from being signed by the giants.”
Also on the card is a rematch between American Top Team’s Michael Pastou (8-2, 1 NC) and London’s Dominic Plumb (4-2) after their first fight ended in controversy back in June. And in a super heavyweight special attraction Poland’s Tomasz Czerwinski (2-3) will do battle with the U.K.’s Ian Hawkings (5-4).
