Darren McFarland, Ed Clay, Chris Pappas and Brad Hopkins were back in the studio Thursday (minus Chris Pappas) and welcomed UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen to the show. Chael is competing against Brian Stann Saturday at UFC 136 in Houston and he talked about the match-up.

Sonnen admitted he feels Stann is stronger than him and hits harder than him. However, he also points out that he has fought 46 men and said that not one has out-struck or out-grappled him. Sonnen said the winner of this fight will get a title shot against Anderson Silva.

He fired back at Michael Bisping who said he deserved a title shot before Sonnen. And he also had a few words for Vitor Belfort saying he would “end his career gladly, that guy is a joke”. Sonnen even talked a little politics and revealed which Presidential candidate he supports. Finally, Sonnen shared his opinion on UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

In addition to talking with Sonnen,  the guys talked with Kenda Perez, host of Spike TV’s (and soon to be on Fuel TV) “The Best of Pride”. Perez talked about how she came to work on “The Best of Pride”, the show filming its second season, her love of MMA and more. The guys also talked UFC 136.
