I am getting so excited, my fight is right around the corner!  I am fighting Chelsea Colarelli 6-2 for BlackEye Promotions 5 – Breast Cancer Beatdown in Asheville, N.C., on Oct. 1st.

My game plan is solid, I’m 100% ready and hoping she brings her A-game.  This will be streaming live via the Internet on Go Fight Live for $9.99.

My weight is perfect for this cut to 115lbs.  I have been lifting heavily for the past six weeks and have changed up a lot of my training.  I have been in the gym 8-12 hours a day since coming to Montana, until this week.

Now it’s time to slow down, work only my cardio and drill, drill, drill.  Next week it’s just cardio and getting my life situated for the time we are gone.  Mark is coming with us this time, but Lola needs a sitter, I have to pack for all three of us and there is always the unexpected…

This event is going to help out It Ain’t Chemo a non profit organization that helps cancer patients with a number of different things from transportation to their appointments to emotional support.

Also, this event is in honor of a fellow female fighter “Mighty” Mia Hayes and her courageous battle with stage four cancer.  Our prayers and thoughts are with you girl!!

BlackEye Promotions is also doing raffle to raise more money for this cause, just go to www.shop.battleforged.com, there are many items up for grabs from a lot of us in the WMMA community.

Also for my local fans, I will be LIVE with Big J and Mc Lovin at 9 a.m. Friday on Hot 101.9 FM!!  I will be talking about BOTH of my October fights, so check it out!!  I will also be LIVE on local Billings TV station KLUR 8 on Monday the 26th, so please don’t forget to tune into both!!

I want to thank everyone at The Grinder’s Grindhouse for working with me, all of my sparring partners and the coaches.  Also, thanks to my head coach and hubby Jason for introducing me to MMA, teaching me and coordinating my training so I get the most out of my many hours spent in the gym.  Thanks guys!!

I want to thank all of my family, friends and fans for your continued support.  Oh and Tom, you know who you are!!  I am grateful to Jack Bratcher and www.ProMMAnow.com for making this blog possible.  I love writing it each week!  And of course my awesome sponsors ~ Super Body Care  ~ Damage Control Mouth guards  ~ OA Graphics ~ Failure’s No Option ~ Level Terrain Apparel ~ Octane Addictions ~ and Durty Gurlz Gear for my weigh in outfit.

I am always looking for more sponsors, so if you would like me to advertise your company with integrity and professionalism please feel free to contact me at [email protected].
