Twenty-seven-year-old female MMA fighter Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig (5-3) has signed a new multi-fight deal with Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC). The Chicago native will make her XFC debut on Dec. 2 LIVE on HDNet against an opponent yet to be determined.

Herrig commented:

“I’m really looking forward to stepping into the XFC cage in December. I know the XFC is building some momentum and has done a good job promoting Women’s MMA in the past. This is a great opportunity and I’m thrilled to be fighting for them and will do my best to give the fans a good show.”

Herrig has already fought three times this year. In January, she dropped a unanimous decision to Barb Honchak at Hoosier Fight Club 6. She returned to action in March, defeating Andrea Miller via first round TKO at Chicago Cagefighting Championship 3, then scored a unanimous decision win over Nicdali-Rivera-Calanoc at XFO 39 in May.

XFC President John Prisco said they plan to start really emphasizing women’s MMA and he feels Herrig will play an integral part in their women’s division.
