ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Susan Cingari talks with Alexander Shlemenko following his first round submission win over Zelg Galesic at Bellator 50 in the season five middleweight tournament quarterfinals Saturday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.
Shlemenko said he was happy to be able to showcase his submission skills, come out of the fight injury free and is ready for the next round. Shlemenko also said he plans to remain in Orange County, California, for the next four weeks where he will train for his semifinal bout against Brian Rogers.
