We are one week away from 24-year-old “Vicious” Victor Ortiz‘s WBC welterweight title defense against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In this third installment of the HBO 24/7 “Mayweather vs. Ortiz” series, Mayweather takes verbal shots at Ortiz for getting a massage from a male masseuse and looking up to Oscar De La Hoya. De La Hoya’s infamous photos are perfect fodder for the strident Mayweather.

Viewers see Mayweather respond to reporters about the argument he had with his father in episode two. He also dismisses Ortiz’s hard upbringing as insignificant, saying such scenarios are commonplace among African Americans.

Mayweather also takes time to video chat with some of America’s soldiers who are stationed in the Middle East. Mayweather gives the soldiers a virtual tour of his home, taking them from room to room while carrying his laptop computer which has a built in camera.

Viewers get to witness some training from both fighters, and against the advice of his coach, Ortiz takes a day off to go fishing with his team.

  1. Mayweather is a punk who needs his clock cleaned. If Victor and /or his trainer were to watch Roger Mayweather past losses he would definitely find the key to beating Floyd, cuz Floyd is trained by Roger and he also fights like Roger. Floyd is not invincible. He is a good defensive fighter cuz uses the corners as a refuge area when he is under pressure and rolls his shoulders, twist and turns his body to block punches and then counters with straight quick punches

  2. Mayweather is a racist ignorant punk. Im by no means a boxer, but would definately go toe to toe with him anytime. He is definately taking Ortiz lightly and that will be his mistake. See if he doesnt resort to biting an ear too!
