Ahh, what a week it’s been. Always staying busy at the gym prepping for my next fight!!! It’s October 1st in North Carolina; the BlackEye Promotions Breast Cancer Beat Down.

I’m very excited to showcase my talent in North Carolina, I have a lot of supporters there. I cannot wait to do work for everyone, since it’s also televised!

On Friday I had a really cool experience, I got to go down to the local Billings Fire Station no. 2 where the training tower is and run their qualifying course!! I did it twice and it was AWESOME!! Stay tuned for ALL of the details with video and pictures!

Friday and Saturday nights we spent at the gym, and since most everyone were at fights around the area, I got to work with one of the striking coaches for a couple hours each night.

I also had the opportunity to work with the other striking coach three other days of the week. Thanks Aaron and Kiko!! We had to do school supply shopping over the weekend, ooh fun…And Wednesday, Marky starts his first day of the 7th grade.

This week I wanted to focus on the Lil’ Grinders, the kiddo’s of the gym. There is a family MMA class four nights a week with students ranging from ages 4 years and up.

Some parents take the class with their youngsters. They have a lot of fun while getting exercise and they are able to stay focused. I like to try and roll with a couple of them each week.

Since I am prepping for my fight, I don’t have lots of time but when I do, I enjoy working with them. Please check out the video below, it will show you some of the Lil’ Grinders in action with me.

There is also a photo below as a face off between myself and another little ginger girl. This picture was taken September of 2009 in Klamath Falls, Ore., and this family has followed my career since.

I am so honored and flattered by the letter I received from her father; and I thank him for allowing me to share it with all of you.

I am hoping everyone is enjoying my blog, because I get a kick out of sharing my journey on the road of success.

My next fight is televised, I’m still looking for sponsors. So please contact me to make sure your company is represented with integrity.

Thanks to all of my sponsors ~ Damage Control MouthguardsFight SoapFailures No Option, Nutra-Bio ~

A special thanks to Horse Nomad, Tom, (You both know who you are), Jack and ProMMANow.com for letting me share with you!!

*This is a letter I got in my inbox from this young lady’s father. It made me cry.*

Hello Mrs Little Patricia. Me and my three daughters met you at a fight in Klamath Falls a few years back. I was very impressed with how down to earth and real you are taking pics with my girls, so first off thank you for that. You made a huge impression on my daughters especially my eleven-year-old. She trains every day with me in BJJ and kickboxing and she’s always telling me she wants to be like you.

So I want to thank you for being someone that I am proud to have my daughters look up to as a role model that shows them that with hard work, dedication and never giving up they can be and do anything they want! Being a single father of three girls ages ten, eleven and twelve, it’s hard these days to find someone that is such a role model as you, so again I thank you!

She’s seen the video of you winning your belt and becoming the champ and then she told everybody she knows that she met you. We sense moved back to Florida but we keep up with your career on Facebook so seen that you are sending out pics and is any way possible to get one? That would be awesome! I’m sure they would put it up in their room. Just might fight over whose wall it goes on! LOL Thank you for your time and please keep working hard training and giving our sport a great name and showing what a true fighter is! [Written 8-22-11]
