I want to say hello, hope all is well for everyone. I am on my fifth week of training camp for my fight in North Carolina for BlackEye Promotions. Last Wednesday my “second” mom growing up, Val rolled through town with her husband Mike (on their way back from Sturgis).

It’s my childhood friend in Denver’s mom. We went out to dinner and had a good time catching up. It was great to see you again!! Check out my Facebook page for the childhood photos Val posted for me ~ very cool, thanks!

Last Thursday was my birthday, I turned 32. Jason planned breakfast for me at Stella’s Kitchen and Bakery, a local restaurant. A group of us had breakfast and then met up at the gym after to train.

It was lots of fun and very filling. Thanks to all who joined us and Andrea for the card; you are a sweetheart!! Later that evening we also had the pleasure of a good friend here taking us out to dinner at her local favorite Chinese restaurant, Cham Thai and ice cream.

We had spicy cashew chicken, kung pao beef, egg rolls, fried rice and some brown rice for me. Delicious!! To finish off my birthday we went to Baskin Robbins, they had a really good peanut butter brownie frozen yogurt. My birthday was a fantastic day, thanks to my husband, son and all of our friends. Thanks for all of my birthday wishes on Facebook, text and even this website!!

On Friday, after training all day, there was a potluck dinner at the gym; lots of food, great company and even a little training going on. We brought a pasta salad, but I think everything was good, I’m sure I tried a little of everything.

After the potluck, we decided to hit up the opening night of the Montana Fair, at Metra Park, here in Billings. Our first stop was the mechanical bull, Marky had to test his skills! We rode some rides, walked around and had tons of fun!

There’s a cool video below ~ Check it out! So glad we ate dinner at the gym with everyone, that way I could get some junk to eat at the fair. Apple slices with hot caramel and when we first got there we got cotton candy (purple & blue). LOL It was good, I shared it with Jason and Marky, but I think I ate most of it.

Not only am I a professional fighter, I am a “domestic engineer” a.k.a. mom and wife. So we got Marky enrolled in school, it starts next Wednesday. Now all we have to do is get school supplies and he’s off to the 7th grade!!

Every other waking moment for me is generally spent at the gym; lifting, doing drills, cardio and conditioning, evening classes, rolling with the noon class and so forth. It’s a family friendly facility, lots of fun stuff to do, from being a spectator to participating. You can also relax and watch some fights or gym pictures on the TV.

I want to thank The Grinder’s Grindhouse, my coach, all of my training partners here, all of my fans, HorseNomad, and all of my sponsors: Damage Control MouthguardsFight SoapFailures No Option.

I am currently looking for sponsors, either on a fight to fight basis or long term (anything is negotiable). I have a confirmed fight for October 1 , in Asheville, N.C., for BlackEye Promotions, which is a charity event for breast cancer.

This event will be getting a lot of media coverage, from what I have been told this will be televised, as soon as I have more info on coverage I will let you know. I, as well will have continued media exposure in which I will be promoting and representing Women’s MMA and my sponsors in a respectful and professional manner. If you are interested please contact [email protected].

Thank you for taking the time to read this and following my career.
