UFC officials have announced that welterweight contenders Martin Kampmann and Rick Story will face off at UFC 139. The card takes place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. on Nov. 19.

Story has experienced both highs and lows over the last few months. At UFC 130, he upset Thiago Alves and firmly entrenched himself in the ProMMANow.com World Rankings. However, he then took a fight on late notice against Charlie Brenneman and came up on the short end of the decision. Even with the defeat, Story holds a 13-4 record and victories over Johny Hendricks, Dustin Hazelett and Jake Ellenberger.

Last March, the judges handed Kampmann his second-straight loss. After controlling Diego Sanchez for three rounds with superior striking and defensive wrestling, the judges awarded Sanchez with the decision. Since dropping down to welterweight, Kampmann is 4-3 with a victory over former WEC champion Carlos Condit.

UFC 139 is expected to feature a heavyweight title fight between champion Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos. The promotion will visit the HP Pavilion, the former home of Strikeforce, for the first time.
