Roufusport, Milwaukee’s fight gym that houses the likes of UFC stars Anthony “Showtime” Pettis and Pat Barry, has opened a “Fighter House” to provide an opportunity for up-and-coming MMA fighters to come and train with one of the top mixed martial arts camps in the world.

Roufusport Head Coach Duke Rufus explains,

” ‘The ‘Fighter House’ is something I’ve been wanting to do on an official basis for a long time. It gives us an opportunity to really show what our guys do on a day-to-day basis, and pass on our knowledge to the next generation, which is something Roufusport is committed to.”

The “Roufusport Fighter House”is conveniently located just five minutes from the Roufusport Academy in Milwaukee. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available for fighters who want to take advantage of the program. Originally from Iowa, current UFC featherweight Erik “New Breed” Koch (12-1) is one such fighter who came to Milwaukee to take advantage of  Roufusport’s “Fighter House” and is now seen as one of the 145-pound division’s top prospects. He has finished his last three opponents in the first round, scoring “knockout of the night” wins over his last two.

Included in the “Roufusport Fighter House” program is access to all Roufusport kickboxing, technique and fighter training classes. The program is recommended for MMA rookies looking to get their career off the ground or established veterans who want to hone their skills.
