During Wednesday’s Afternoon Press Box, Darren and the boys welcomed in Geoff Desmoulin, the host of the popular Spike TV series, Deadliest Warrior.

Desmoulin explained the origin of Deadliest Warrior and the overwhelming response the show got during initial test screenings for Spike. He also explained how the match-ups are decided and revealed some of the exciting warrior matches coming up this season including a special Vampire vs. Zombie episode!

The third season of Deadliest Warrior premieres Wednesday, July 20, at 10 p.m. ET/ 9 p.m. CT on Spike TV.

In addition, the guys discussed the UFC 133 main event situation that resulted in Phil Davis pulling out of his Aug. 6 fight with Rashad Evans. The guys also looked at other bouts on the UFC 133 card and discussed other news going on in the MMA world this week.
