Lentz has an enormous cut under his left eye – enormous. I believe I heard Oliveira tell Lentz, “You win.” There’s a lot of confusion in the cage right now and chants of “Bullsh*t” can be heard from the stands. Lentz’s face looks horrible, they should have done something with that huge cut.  They replay the illegal knee and the boos ring out again.

OFFCIAL RESULT: Charles Oliveira def. Nik Lentz by submission (rear-naked choke) Rd 2 (1:48)

COMMENTS: Oliveira apologizes to Lentz after the fight. He said he plans to come back and show his true technique. He said it was not intentional. That gets a few claps at least. Joe Rogan says the commission will review the bout.Surely, they will likely overturn the result; at least you would hope so.

Now — as far as this referee goes who failed to call this, one has to ask the question… is he a boxing referee who does not know any better? Not very many big shows come to Pennsylvania, so one has to wonder how much experience these refs have.

It’s really an unfortunate ending because it was such a good fight up until that point and it appeared Oliveira was on his way to winning anyway.

OFFCIAL RESULT: Rich Attonito def. Daniel Roberts by unanimous decision (29-27, 30-37, 29-28)

COMMENTS: Attonito hurt Roberts badly, especially in the third and it was very frustrating to watch him not pounce on Roberts when he had him hurt. He tried once to really finish. He should have kept doing that each time he had him rocked. He said afterward he was disappointed.

OFFCIAL RESULT: Javier Vasquez def. Joe Stevenson by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27)

COMMENTS: Joe Daddy was on a three fight losing streak coming into this fight. He will almost CERTAINLY be released after this performance. His head just does not look in the game. He’s been fighting a long time. He’s had a respectable career but his UFC days are over.

Tyson gets his head free, gives a knee to the gut. Manny gives him a judo throw and slams him hard. This ref keeps calling for work, maybe trying to make up for the GOD AWFUL MISTAKE HE MADE EARLIER. COMMENTS: This ref (anyone know his name?) wins the award for “Most annoying MMA ref in history”. The guy was acting like a coach, not a ref. No one wants to hear that crap, especially when he is obviously clueless to what’s going on. Good fight though, too bad this guy distracted from it.
