2008 Olympian Ronda Rousey cleans up well.

On June 17, Olympic judoka “Rowdy” Ronda Ramsey took on kickboxing champion Charmaine Tweet in a 150-pound co-main event at Hard Knocks Fighting Championship’s “School of Hard Knocks 12” at Century Casino in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

In 2008 Ramsey (2-0) became the first American woman to medal in judo when she won Bronze at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Since beginning her mixed martial arts career in 2010, Rousey has reeled off four straight submission victories, all by arm bar.

Currently training with Team Hayastan under Gokor Chivichyan, the 24-year-old Rousey is considered one of the most promising up-and-coming prospects in women’s MMA, and the following video of her fight with Tweet (0-1) is a perfect example why all eyes are on this young lady.
