Friday night at 6 p.m. ET, “Inside MMA” will broadcast LIVE from the “Strikeforce Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament: Overeem vs. Werdum” weigh-ins at Victory Plaza in Dallas, Texas.
Inside MMA hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten will be joined by Herschel Walker and Guy Mezger to break down the fight card and Ron Kruck will interview the fighters as they step off the scale.
There will be an encore presentation of this “Inside MMA” special event in the show’s regularly scheduled time slot at 9 p.m. ET.
On Saturday night, June 18, HDNet will broadcast the “Overeem vs. Werdum” preliminary card LIVE starting at 8 p.m. ET. Michael “The Voice” Schiavello will call the action alongside Bas Rutten.
Preliminary card bouts include the following line-up:
- Lightweight bout: Gesias Cavalcante vs. Justin Wilcox
- Lightweight bout: Conor Heun vs. Magno Almeida
- Welterweight bout: Nah-Shon Burrell vs. Joe Ray
