Bellator Fighting Championships will hold tryouts at the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., on Saturday, June 18.

Registration starts at 1 p.m. EST and tryouts begin at 2 p.m. EST.

MMA fighters from the state of Florida who participate in the tryout will be eligible to win a spot on the undercard of Bellator 50, which takes place Sept. 7 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Non-Florida fighters are also encouraged to try out and will be scouted for future fight card openings. In addition, the tryouts are open to the media.

Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney commented:

“The Seminole Hard Rock has been like a second home to Bellator. We’ve had tremendous success with our open tryouts in the past, actually leading to a fighter securing a spot in a nationally televised Bellator Tournament. I expect another group of great fighters will be at the tryout June 18th in Hollywood.”

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is located on 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, Florida 33314. Fighters trying out must bring their own MMA gloves, boxing gloves, an athletic protector, and mouthpiece.

Tryouts are only open to professional fighters, and those trying out must be prepared to present their MixedMartialArts.com ID. Fighters will be required to grapple with one another, but there will be no live striking.

Fighters must be an unrestricted free agent without contractual obligations to any other MMA promotion.
