Ideally Frank Mir would like to put Roy Nelson on his back and maintain top control, but he knows with Roy’s low center of gravity and grappling expertise, it is easier said than done. Mir and Nelson will clash in this weekend’s co-main event at UFC 130 in Las Vegas.

Mir was not too keen on the idea of fighting Nelson to begin with. Because Mir won his last fight and Nelson lost, he does not believe a win over “Big Country” will necessarily help move him closer to title contention.

When it comes to a game plan against Nelson, Mir said he will just have to take what Roy gives him and does not see himself having a huge advantage in any particular area. Mir and Nelson have one win a piece against each other in grappling.
