"Occupation: Fighter" is due for release in June 2011.

In the upcoming documentary from Bavayou Films entitled “Occupation: Fighter”, cameras follow WEC veteran Chad “Savage” George (11-6) for eight months, giving viewers an inside look at what it is like to live the life of a professional mixed martial arts fighter.

The film, due for release next month, is directed by award-winning filmmaker Andre Enzensberger, who wrote and directed 2008’s Ralf & Johnny.

Along with George, UFC veterans Josh Barnett, Dan Hardy, Mac Danzig and MMA veteran Thomas Denny also make appearances in the documentary.

Here is a description from the film’s website:

“Occupation: Fighter provides the opportunity to discover the MMA sport in a fresh and striking light. It is a true independent gem revealing the life of a dedicated professional fighter on his way to the top. In times of hard labor and an infamously tough economy, this film inspires the very spirit of our existence… to never give up!”

Long-time readers of ProMMAnow.com will remember Chad George’s “Road to Japan Blog” from 2009 where he documented his travels to Japan to train with Shooto legend Rumina Sato.
