Twenty-seven-year-old lightweights Jim Miller (20-2) and Ben “Smooth” Henderson (13-2) will square off at UFC on Versus 5, scheduled to take place at the Bradley Center Aug. 14 in Milwaukee, Wis.

UFC President Dana White confirmed the bout on Tuesday.

Henderson, a former WEC lightweight champion, made a successful UFC debut last month when he defeated Mark Bocek via unanimous decision at UFC 129.

Prior to that, Henderson was on a 10-fight win streak before losing a unanimous decision to Anthony Pettis in the final WEC event this past December.

Miller is at the top of the heap in the UFC’s lightweight division. The New Jersey BJJ black belt’s only loss within the organization took place in March 2009 to current number one contender Gray Maynard via unanimous decision.

Miller is presently on a seven fight win streak and holds a 9-1 record overall inside the UFC. In his most recent fight he scored a third round TKO over Kamal Shalorus at UFC 128 in March.

Other fights expected for UFC on Versus 5 include Stephan Bonnar vs. Karlos Vemola, Duane Ludwig vs. Amir Sadollah and Cole Miller vs. T.J. O’Brien. Check our Upcoming Events page for complete UFC fight card listings.
