The UFC has officially announced that Rafael dos Anjos will fill in against George Sotiropoulos at UFC 132. Evan Dunham was forced off the card with an undisclosed injury.

Dos Anjos had a three-fight winning streak snapped by Clay Guida at UFC 117. He appeared to be in the driver’s seat, but ultimately tapped out due to a jaw injury. Prior to that, the Brazilian defeated Rob Emerson, Kyle Bradley and Terry Etim.

Sotiropoulos also needs to get back on track after suffering his first defeat since 2006. His loss to Dennis Siver at UFC 127 stopped a eight-fight winning streak that included seven-straight victories in the UFC.

Headlining UFC 132 is a bantamweight title fight. Champion Dominick Cruz will defend his title against former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber. “The California Kid” defeated Cruz back at WEC 26 in 2007.
