Brazilian website Tatame has reported that featherweights Mackens Semerzier and Yuri Alcantara are set to battle at UFC 134. The card, also known as UFC: Rio, takes place on Aug. 27 at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro.

*MMAJunkie has reported that, according to Semerzier’s manager Brian Butler, this fight has not been nailed down. Semerzier could possibly fight at UFC 133, UFC 134 or UFC Live 5, which are all scheduled for this summer.

In his last fight, Semerzier snapped a three-fight losing streak with a first-round submission victory over TUF veteran Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres. Semerzier is best remembered for surprisingly submitting former IFL champion Wagnney Fabiano in his WEC debut.

Alcantara made his WEC debut on the promotion’s final event. He knocked out Ricardo Lamas less than four minutes into the fight. “Marajo” earned a shot under the Zuffa umbrella after putting together a 10-fight winning streak on the Brazilian circuit. He has not lost since 2009.

A middleweight championship bout will headline UFC 134. Champion Anderson Silva will defend his belt against the last man to defeat him, Yushin Okami. Okami received a disqualification victory over Silva in the first round of the Rumble on the Rock welterweight tournament in 2006.
