Jason “Mayhem” Miller‘s manager Ryan Parsons has confirmed to MMAFighting, that the middleweight has signed a contract with the UFC.

According to the report, Miller was essentially a free agent after finishing his deal with Strikeforce earlier this year.

Miller has not fought since scoring an arm-triangle choke submission over MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 16. The colorful fighter also holds victories over Tim Kennedy, Robbie Lawler and Denis Kang.

“Mayhem” previously fought in the UFC only once. He took on current UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 52 and was thoroughly dominated. However, he was able to draw the admiration of the crowd with his ability to take punishment.

Despite fighting since 2001, “Mayhem” is probably better known as the host of MTV’s “Bully Beatdown.”

  1. Gotta agree with Richard here. Although he should beat Simpson so that should be one win.

However, I believe when he faces off with someone that’s a top ten caliber guy he will lose. Personally I believe he is extremely overrated.

  2. Hahaha I just commented on a year old article for no reason. I doubt he’ll go back and look at it.

Fun fact: I had a 5 fight parlay going into that SF event. Toby Imada beat Krause, Ben Askren got a weird sub on Ryan Thomas (that obviously was a big mistake, and Wilson Reis took care of Shad Lierley. Mayehm took out Stout, and I was set on easy street because the only thing left for my bet to make me 2 gs was for Dan Henderson to take out the overmatched Jake Shields….

I called Henderson many names that night. Not one of em good.
