According to a report from Non Stop WMMA radio show, Gina Carano‘s next fight will come against Sarah D’Alelio.

The bout has not been officially announced by the promotion. However, Strikeforce officials have indicated that Carano’s return fight will take place on June 18 at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas. According to Scott Coker, Carano was set to face Cindy Dandois, but the bout was scrapped after the judoka realized she was pregnant.

D’Alelio began her career with four-straight victories. In her last fight, she suffered her first-career defeat when she dropped a decision to Elite XC and Bodog Fight veteran Julie Kedzie.

Carano has not fought since Cris “Cyborg” Santos knocked her out back in 2009. Before that, “Crush” had won seven-straight fights. She rose to national prominence fighting for Elite XC. Several of her fights on CBS were part of some of the highest rated MMA shows of all time.

Strikeforce’s Dallas show will host the remaining two bouts in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix. Alistair Overeem will take on Fabricio Werdum, and Josh Barnett will return against Brett Rogers.
