During Wednesday’s AFTERNOON PRESS BOX, Darren and the boys were joined by UFC middleweight Brian “All American” Stann (10-3), who is currently in Albuquerque, N.M., at Jackson’s MMA training for his upcoming fight against Jorge Santiago at UFC 130.

Stann talked about his recent win over Chris Leben and what that victory meant to him, making the transition from the Marines to professional fighting, his motivation behind the move and how he ended up training with Jackson.

Stann also discussed Hire Heoroes USA, the organization he founded to help U.S. military veterans find employment, he discussed his relationship with Greg Jackson and why the fight with Wanderlei Silva did not happen.

One of the most interesting parts of the interview is when Stann explained about why he doesn’t spar between fights and why it is up to the fighters to protect themselves from concussions and brain injury.

In addition to the interview with Stann, the guys discussed Josh Gross and Loretta Hunt being denied press credentials to Strikeforce and other current MMA topics. Listen to the audio in three parts below:
