The Bellator 39 fight card this Saturday has a late change, with Luiz Azeredo replacing UFC veteran Matt Veach in a lightweight undercard bout against Rene Nazare, according to the Boston Herald.

Azevedo (15-9), a longtime veteran that competed five times for PRIDE, actually holds a win over UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva from back in 2000. He’s also fought Takanori Gomi twice — losing both times — and defeated Paul Daley in 2006.

Most recently, Azevedo picked up a win over Eduardo Guedes at Bellator 33.

Nazare (6-0) is an undefeated prospect with a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and BJJ world champion.
