On June 18, Josh Barnett will face Brett Rogers in a Strikeforce heavyweight tournament quarterfinal match-up.

In this interview Barnett talks with Fight Week’s Sam Strayer about facing Rogers and the significance of the tournament and what winning the whole thing would mean for his career.

Barnett also shares his thoughts on Zuffa’s purchase of Strikeforce and how it feels to “be in bed” with UFC President Dana White once again. It’s no secret Barnett and White have had their differences in the past, but “The Baby-Faced Assassin” says he’s willing to bury the hatchet.

Always good for a memorable quote, Barnett delivers when asked if he is the favorite to win the tournament: “When everyone is dismembered and lying in a pool of their own fluids, then I guess I’ll be the favorite because I would have beaten everyone in front of me.”
