The combatants for the Feb. 18 Tachi Palace Fights 8 event in Lemoore, Calif., made weight on Thursday, though a couple of fighters needed a second chance on the scale to make things official. The fight card features several UFC and WEC veterans and top-ranked flyweights.

TPF flyweight champion Ulysses Gomez announced on facebook that he came in one pound over before getting to the 125-pound limit for his match-up with Darrell Montague.

MMAJunkie reported that Ian McCall, who will face top-ranked flyweight Jussier da Silva, also came in slightly heavy at first at 126, but dropped the last half pound to get within the one-pound allowance. Also, UFC veteran John Gunderson and his opponent Dominique Robinson both tipped the scales at 156.5 and agreed to classify the fight as a catchweight bout. All the other fights made weight without any issues, the report says.
