Dave Farra recently caught up with “Suga” Rashad Evans to talk about the Jon Jones vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua light heavyweight title fight that got put together once Evans had to pull out due to injury.

Evans explains how he got injured and responds to the fact that Jones is being considered a 2-to-1 favorite in the odds. Evans doesn’t know exactly what he will do if Jones defeats Shogun and wins the title. But one thing he won’t be doing apparently is fighting Jones, even though he is considered the top contender at 205-pounds and could probably get first crack at him.

What do you think Pro MMA Now readers? Is Rashad just being a “good friend” or is this just his way of avoiding the man many consider one of the best fighters in the sport today?

Now we just have to hope someone was lucky enough to catch on video Rashad and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson slapping each other in the club. It doesn’t get much better than watching two grown men all dressed up in a club slapping the crap out of each other.
