Henry Cejudo has officially returned to the wrestling mats. He will seek his second Olympic gold medal in 2012. Last Thursday, Cejudo practiced at the Olympic training center for the first time since winning his gold medal.

At the 2008 Olympic games, Cejudo became the youngest Olympic Champion in the history of USA Wrestling. He will return to competition for the first time in February when he wrestles in the Cerro Pelado tournament in Cuba.

During his hiatus from wrestling, Cejudo has hinted at the possibility of an MMA career. He has trained with several MMA teams including American Top Team and Team Alpha Male. With the addition of the bantamweight class to the UFC, Cejudo’s MMA career seems more likely.

  1. If Herny Cejudo going to wrestle at the freestyle at the 2012 London Olympics, I believe that Herny Cejudo got some new strength and new techniques to win the second time as a gold medalist. Lets hope Cejudo’s goals, make it as a successful reach at this year, 2012 London Olympics!!!!!!!

  2. Somehow, Herny Cejudo is a person, but as a great wrestler, that will lead me to become a great high school wrestler, by watching how great Cejudo is good at the sport of wrestling.
