Welterweights Dennis Hallman and TJ Waldburger are set to face off on the under card of UFC Fight Night 24. The card will take place in Seattle on March 26.

According to a report from MMAJunkie, the two fighters have verbal agreements in place and are working towards signing the contract.

As a native of Yelm, Wash., Hallman was expected to fight on this card. The veteran has been fighting since 1997. He has competed in 59 MMA fights. In 2009, the UFC gave Hallman another shot and he has made the most of it. He lost his return fight to John Howard, but has returned and picked up back-to-back wins over Ben Saunders and Karo Parisyan.

During his long career, Hallman has picked up victories over Delson Heleno, Rory Singer and Matt Hughes.

Waldburger received a shot in the UFC after winning and defending the Shark Fights welterweight title. He won the belt after submitting Shannon Ritch and then defended it with a decision win over former MFC champion Pat Healy.

In his UFC debut, Waldburger scored a surprising upset victory over top prospect David Mitchell.

Zuffa has not officially announced UFC Fight Night 24. However, multiple media sources have reported several fights for the event. A light heavyweight battle between former light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will headline the card.
