Frank Mir (L) and Roy Nelson (R) appear set to square off at UFC 130

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir (14-5) and The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 winner Roy Nelson (15-5) at UFC 130 this May, according to BetUS.com.

A follow up report by MMAJunkie.com says that Nelson’s contractual issues that have kept him out of action likely won’t disrupt the match-up.

The bout features two of the best grapplers in the division looking to move closer to title contention. But, for the MMA nerd in us all, it’s a rematch of sorts. Years ago the two competed in a grappling match — won by Nelson — at a Grappler’s Quest event in 2003. Check out the video below.

Other fights rumored for UFC 130: Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Thiago Silva (source: MMAjunkie), Stefan Struve vs. Travis Browne (source: MMAFighting), and Thiago Alves vs. Rick Story.
