A featherweight fight between Yves Jabouin and Pablo Garza is expected to be added to the undercard of UFC 129. The card is scheduled to take place in Toronto on April 30.

MMAJunkie has confirmed the news of the fight for the UFC’s first trip to Toronto.

Jabouin only racked up a 1-2 record in the WEC. However, he made an impression with his “Fight of the Night” performance against Mark Hominick. Although Hominick scored a second-round knockout, many observers considered the fight to be a candidate for “Fight of the Year.”

The Montreal native is probably excited to fight again on Canadian soil. 15 of his 16 victories have come in his native country.

Garza went 0-1 on the most-recent season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” However, Zuffa gave him another chance. The WEC brought Garza in on late notice to face Tie Quan Zhang at WEC 51. The Chinese fighter finished the fight with a guillotine choke in the first round.

Despite the loss, Garza faced off against Fredson Paixao in the first-ever featherweight fight in the UFC. He landed a flying knee less than a minute into the fight and took home “Knockout of the Night” honors.

A welterweight title fight between champion Georges St. Pierre and former Strikeforce and Elite XC champion Jake Shields will headline the UFC’s first trip to Toronto.
