UFC veteran John Salter was expecting to make his Strikeforce debut on the main card of the Strikeforce Challengers 13 event this Friday, Jan. 7, in Nashville. An injury to his opponent forced yet another opponent change for Salter, and once another one was found, the fight was relegated to the preliminary card.

Last minute changes are just a part of Salter’s MMA life these days, as his last two fights in the UFC featured last minute changes as well. Salter agrees that these types of things are just part of the game, focusing instead on himself, and becoming as well rounded as possible before his fights no matter who the opponent.
