Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem is seen here talking about the upcoming K-1 World Grand Prix 2010 Final which takes place on Dec. 11 at Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan. Overeem predicts he will knock out his first round opponent Tyrone Spong in under two minutes. He says the faster he can finish his opponent the less likelihood he will have to fight the next round injured.

We also get to see Overeem in a training session. You can’t help but feel pity for his pad-holder as Overeem smashes the mitts with devastating punches and knees and then batters the guy’s legs with leg kicks that repeatedly cause him to stumble and drop to the mat. Who in their right mind wants to fight this monster?

  1. I’m very interested to see Overeem’s weight before his next fight. It keeps dropping from last year when he weighed in at almost 260 for the K1! finals and his dream fights. It was down to about 250 when he fought Rogers, and for his last K1 fight he was around 245.

    very peculiar.
