Dana White confirms the much speculated fight between Ryan Bader and Jon Jones will happen. However, the fight will not be for a title shot, at least if Jones is the winner. If Jones gets through Bader, White says he will fight “nothing but the top five” but is still “about a year away from a title shot.”

Interestingly enough, White doesn’t say what’s next for Bader if he beats Jones. White also says WEC featherweight champ Jose Aldo had been talking about moving up to 155 lbs., so they offered him a fight with Kenny Florian in the UFC and he turned it down.
