ANAHEIM, Calif. — The UFC 121 fighter weigh-ins took place this afternoon at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., the same location that will host tomorrow’s fight card featuring a main event between heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and number one contender Cain Velasquez.

Headliners Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez weighed in 20 lbs. apart. Lesnar tipped the scales just one pound under the heavyweight title fight limit at 264 lbs. and Velasquez was at 244 lbs.

When asked for comments on the bout, Velasquez spoke to the fans in Spanish and when asked how he expected the fight to go Lesnar simply said, “Brock Lesnar’s getting his hand raised. That’s exactly how it’s going to go.”
