Fedor Emelianenko talks about the new EA Sports MMA video game which was released on Tuesday. Fedor of course is one of the main characters in the game and says a lot of people back home in Russia are into it. As far as other video games The Last Emperor plays, well, Rock Band is not one of them. However, he does mention the war game “Medal of Honor” as one of his favorites.
Fedor experienced the first legitimate loss of his career in June against Fabricio Werdum. Since then, the MMA legend took some time off to rest but is now back in the gym training. As far as who Fedor’s next opponent will be, he says whoever they put against him he will be ready to fight.
Karyn Bryant asks Fedor about possibly fighting Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem, who she feels is the fight most people would like to see. Fedor says as far as he knows Overeem “is against fighting him.”
Bryant calls Fedor’s one-minute-and-nine-second submission loss to Werdum “incredible” and tells him she spent a lot of time with Werdum before their fight and knew how important the fight was to him. In what looked to be a slightly awkward moment, Fedor simply says, “Congratulations”.
