This is an interesting interview with UFC President Dana White. He discusses several topics here but two things stick out. First of all, he says he thinks mixed martial arts will become an Olympic sport in the near future and he has a meeting with the Olympic committee coming up.
Secondly, Frank Shamrock recently said that the reason MMA is not legal in New York is due in large part because of Dana White. White calls Shamrock a “two-faced lying chump” and says Shamrock just came to his office in Vegas about a month ago wanting to make peace.
He also questions what Shamrock has done to help advance the sport in the last ten years. “You’re [Frank Shamrock] just a liar and a guy who’s trying to keep himself relevant,” White says.
