Todd Duffee is clearly a Roy “Big Country” Nelson fan (and a Hooters fan), so for him to see what happened in the Junior Dos Santos fight was not a pleasant experience. Duffee, while wearing a “Big Country” T-Shirt, shares his thoughts and reactions to the Nelson vs. Dos Santos bout as it takes place at UFC 117.

Early on, Duffee said he was not that impressed with Dos Santos’s performance, (haven’t we heard that line somewhere before?) but as the fight wore on, he sort of retracted the statement. In the end, Duffee just didn’t think Roy fought as good as he could have, and thinks he’s much better than what he showed. On the other hand, he feels it was the biggest win of Dos Santos’s career.

With both Duffee and Nelson coming off losses, it’s possible we might see the two UFC heavyweights face each other down the road. Duffee, now 6-1 in his pro MMA career, is 1-1 since joining the UFC in 2009. He holds a first round knockout win over Tim Hague at UFC 102, but lost his most recent bout via third round KO to Mike Russow at UFC 114 back in May.
