Weigh-ins for Powerhouse World Promotions inaugural card “War on the Mainland” took place Friday, Aug. 13, in Irvine, Calif. This all-star $29.95 Pay-Per-View card broadcasts live tonight (Saturday) beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT.
The “War on the Mainland” main event features former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia taking on another former UFC heavyweight fighter, the hard-hitting Paul Buentello. Other featured bouts include UFC vet Jason Lambert taking on former King of the Cage heavyweight and light heavyweight champ Tony Lopez, the “Fighting Hippy” Matt Horwich vs. UFC vet Thales Leites and up-and-comer Diego Garijo taking on MMA legend Jens Pulver.
