Friday’s “UFC 117: Silva vs. Sonnen” fighter weigh-ins take place this evening at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT and will air in a LIVE video stream in ProMMAnow.com’s UFC ROOM direct from Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.

Saturday’s UFC 117 card also takes place at Oracle Arena. The card is headlined by a heavily anticipated middleweight title fight between champion and pound-for-pound king Anderson Silva, who will be defending his title against hype king Chael Sonnen. Sonnen earned his title shot by running through a string of top middleweight talent and has talked this fight up with some of the most outrageous statements ever heard in professional sports.

Also, Jon Fitch takes on Thiago Alves for middleweight title contention and Junior Dos Santos battles The Ultimate Fighter season 10 winner Roy Nelson for a shot at the upcoming bout between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez for the heavyweight crown. MMA legend Matt Hughes takes on Ricardo Almeida and Dustin Hazlett fights Rafael dos Anjos.
