John Hathaway had been penciled in to face Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 120. However, now he will meet Mike Pyle on the card. The event will take place on Oct. 16 at the O2 Arena in London.

The Daily Telegraph reported the match up on Tuesday. The report also indicated that Kim has been forced off the card with an injury, but it did not provide specifics about the injury.

In his last fight, Hathaway scored the biggest victory of his career when he upset TUF 1 winner Diego Sanchez. The win was also his 14th straight victory. He made his UFC debut against Thomas Egan at UFC 93 and won the fight by TKO. The Brighton native will be fighting on British soil for the 12th time in his career.

Pyle made his UFC debut against Brock Larson at UFC 98. Before fighting in the UFC, Pyle had fought for a variety of promotions including the WEC, IFL, Sengoku and Affliction. He holds victories over Dan Hornbuckle, Gustavo Machado and a novice Jon Fight. In his last fight, he scored a triangle-choke victory over Jesse Lennox at UFC 115.

Headlining UFC 120 will be a middleweight match up between Michael Bisping and Yoshihiro Akiyama.
